In addition to hosting Golf Canada’s training centre for Alberta, the RCGA Golf Centre offers services and programs tailored to golfers of all skill levels, making golf accessible to juniors via the CN Future Links and Player Development Programs. The nine-hole, par 3 course, designed by Les Furber, adheres its confident contours to the banks of the Bow River and incorporates its natural features and lovable personality quirks in the design. The course touts water features on six of the holes, green side bunkers, and windmill-free fairways. Multiple tees on each hole allow players to determine their own difficulty levels.

A par 72 putting course pits contenders against rock, sand, and water features more than 18 holes. Spanning nearly 2,900 feet of groomed grass surfaces, even the hardiest putters may break down and appreciate landscaping aesthetic. Stadium night lighting on both courses allows for dramatic rehearsals of synchronized nine-iron dances in late-evening games. The course opens seasonally, around the middle of April, when the rains signal a prosperous golf-ball harvest.
