At The Crux Climbing & Bouldering, visitors manoeuvre across more than 12,000 square feet of climbing walls and 3,000 square feet of bouldering space. Climbers stretch limbs and connect the dots between an array of multicoloured arm and foot holds to discover the best routes up the wall, and then scale the lead climbing routes up 72 feet high. Different paths challenge visitors of all skill levels, and the spacious belay areas keep climbers safely strapped into harnesses and out of the way of passing pterodactyls. Meanwhile, bodies descend 80 feet at the rappelling station and twist into hanging and standing stances at two multipitch courses. Certified staff members monitor climbs, maintain walls, and rearrange the colourful holds into new routes and abstract self-portraits, giving wall scalers regularly changing climbs during their 10 visits. Rental-equipment packages are also available for an additional fee.
