Aeroplan is offering  a special “Use your connections, earn more miles” promotion. You can get 1,000 bonus miles or earn up to 15,000 bonus Aeroplan Miles (enough for a short haul flight). This offer is available until June 20, 2014. The promotion seems to be a hit or miss and only work about 50% off the time.
