FREE Appetizer Coupon with Email Sign-Up at Boston Pizza, Swiss Chalet, & East Side Mario's

I’m noticing that more and more National chain restaurants offering a FREE Appetizer coupon when you sign-up and join their email list! Off the top of my head, I know Boston Pizza, Swiss Chalet, & East Side Mario’s does this.

This is a very good deal considering it takes a minute to sign-up and to get a free appetizer valued at around $10.

Whenever I plan on visiting one of these restaurants, I just sign-up with a new email and print the coupon before I go. Most coupons are valid for a week or two from when you sign-up so just join the day of before you go. There’s usually a limit of one coupon per table and requires you to buy an entrée.

The best deal is using the free appetizer coupon at Boston Pizza on Pasta Tuesday. You get a meal valued at around $50 for only $20.

Today (Sunday, July 21, 2013) is National Ice Cream Day! To celebrate, Tim Hortons/ Cold Stone Creamery is giving away FREE Regular-Size Signature Creation Ice Creams to the first 200 guests starting at 2pm! The freebie is available at the following participating locations.

Offer available at full service Cold Stone Creamery restaurants only. Participating locations are listed above. Limit one per guest. Available on a first come, first served basis. Wrist bands will be given out to identify the first 200 people in line, starting at 2:00 PM local time. Wrist bands must be redeemed for free ice cream no later than 11:59:59 PM local time on Sunday, July 21, 2013. In-restaurant only. Wrist bands will not be distributed in drive-thru.

Reminder Update: I originally posted about this deal on Tuesday. Here’s a reminder that this terrific offer takes place this morning.

This is a very good deal for a great cause so please support it! As devastating as the floods were, I have never been more proud to be a Calgarian. It was truly inspiring to see the city come together and help one another.

Most of us know someone affected by the floods. My parents family business of over 35 years (Golden Inn Restaurant in Chinatown) was hit by the flood. The restaurant has been closed since and is still weeks away from opening. We have been working long hours cleaning and restoring the restaurant. Here’s a picture of the flood hitting the restaurant.

Cineplex Entertainment will be hosting a FREE movie morning on Saturday, July 20th at all Cineplex theatres in Alberta in support of Alberta Flood Relief!

Regular popcorn and regular fountain drink will be available for only $2 each with 100% of the proceeds donated to the Canadian Red Cross – Alberta Floods Fund.

Doors open at 8:30am with a great selection of FREE movies beginning at 9:00am. Tickets are available at the box office on July 20th.

Cineplex Entertainment will match proceeds from the event.

Movies include:

  • PARENTAL GUIDANCE – 9:00am
  • SKYFALL – 9:15am
  • ESCAPE FROM PLANET EARTH (3D) – 9:30am
  • JACK THE GIANT SLAYER – 9:45am
